Kate Whatley is thrilled to have recently been accepted as a Fellow of the Metal Cladding & Roofing Institute (MCRi).
is a highly respected leader in the roofing industry with over 20 years’ experience in senior management, commercial delivery, and operational leadership. Beyond project success, she has made a lasting impact through championing skills, inclusion, and professional standards.
A passionate advocate for education and opportunity, she has founded and supported industry initiatives, training programmes, and outreach with schools, helping to open pathways, develop talent, and create a more inclusive, professional future for roofing and construction.
The goal of the Metal Cladding & Roofing Institute (MCRI) is to create a more skilled, better supported workforce and values are perfectly aligned with those of Phoenix Consortia
As a Fellow she commits to undertaking additional Continual Professional Development (CPD) throughout the year.
She looks forward to continuing to support the industry with training and promotion of the sector and supporting others on their career journeys and work closely with the Institute which strives to ensure that individuals are recognised for their contribution to the sector and supported on their career path
