Having been part of the movement since the early beginnings, it is fantastic that see that this year a record 252 members of The 5% Club have been awarded accredited status through the Club’s Employer Audit Programme!

The 5% Club is a dynamic movement of employers committed to earn & learn as part of building and developing the workforce they need as part of a socially mobile, prosperous and cohesive nation. The Club exists to help its members and all employers increase further the number, quality and range of earn & learn opportunities across the UK.

By joining The 5% Club, members aspire to achieve 5% of their workforce in earn and learn positions (including apprentices, sponsored students and graduates on formalised training schemes) within five years of joining.

More than 1,200 organisations across the UK – all committed to providing ‘earn and learn’ opportunities for their workforce.

5% Club members collectively employ:
More than 2 million employees, 89,000 apprentices, 22,000 people on graduate programmes, 10,000 sponsored students equalling a total of 121,000 people in the workplace who have been given skills based training opportunities by members – averaging more than 6% across the movement.

Building a skilled workforce is essential for every business no matter what sector and helps organisations to meet the ever evolving demands of businesses, boosts the economy and drives growth.

We now very much look forward to attending The 5% Club Employer Audit Celebratory Reception at Mansion House in December to celebrate our huge achievement!
