SPV Support Road Safety Week

SPV were delighted to attend Walsall Football club on Saturday the 14th October to help support the Road Haulage association promote Road safety week.
The RHA is committed to the continuing effort to make the UK’s roads the safest they can be. Road safety is a shared responsibility for anyone who uses the road network, who loads or unloads a vehicle, purchases a freight service or maintains a vehicle. We all have a role to play to keep the roads operating as reliably and safely as possible.
We brought our truck to the event alongside Poundland, Haywards transport who are both also commercial partners of Walsall Football club and members of the Road Haulage Association. We also put the crane to full height to demonstrate how our lorry is indispensable for our works at height.
We were delighted to speak to groups of children on the day about blind spots as well as careers in construction and raise awareness with both the younger and older generations who came to speak with us.
