We were delighted to join Juniper Training last week as they welcome West Midlands Mayor, Richard Parker to the Building futures Training Centre.

After a walk around to chat to students , apprentices and staff, the mayor spent time talking to ourselves and Zak Fullerton  from RLW Roofing about collaboration in the industry, the skills and recruitment challenges we are facing and challenges around policy and funding. 

It was an excellent opportunity to showcase the fantastic work Juniper are doing within both the roofing industry and local community around young people and apprenticeships and also demonstrate how ITPs and employers can work together to address skills shortages and our 16-19 NEET issue.
