SPV Special Projects have recently completed the roofing refurbishment works at the former Frankie & Benny’s and now Tim Hortons at Junction One Retail Park, Rugby.
Working on behalf of our client Kingfisher Construction, our remit was multi discipline and involved the installation of the new slate and flat roofs as well as wall cladding to the plant room. We worked closely with all other parties on-site to coordinate and deliver the works collaboratively.
The former Frankie and Benny’s had suffered extreme fire damage and was being rebuilt as a Tim Hortons.
We supplied and fitted new Marley Ashmore concrete interlocking tiles, smooth grey in colour along with metal valley gutters.
A supplied and laid a 3 layer high performance Polyglass waterproofing system to the plant deck with a 20-year guarantee.
We supplied and fitted the new Kingspan wall cladding system around the plant room. A supplied and laid a 3 layer high performance Polyglass waterproofing system to the plant deck with a 20-year guarantee.
We had a number of apprentices on site throughout the works who gained valuable experience of working on a large multi discipline project.
All works were completed within budget and within agreed time scales.
